The department will be hiring for two (2) positions. Although the area of specialization is open, we seek candidates who have expertise and strong interest in teaching statistics and research methods and mentoring students in research at the undergraduate and graduate (MA) levels. Successful candidates should also be prepared to teach undergraduate introductory courses (e.g., Introduction to Psychology, Lifespan Development) or other courses aligned with their specialization. The regular teaching load is 12 hours per semester with some evening classes required. We allow academic freedom in the applicant's choice of psychological research. The collective bargaining agreement defines the process for renewal, promotion, and tenure, while also delineating support for professional development.</p> <p>Applicant Evaluative Criteria</p> <p>Applicant profiles and supplementary materials will be evaluated for appointment based on the following:</p> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>All applicants must possess a Ph.D. in Psychology or a closely related field. Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
