<p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>General description of main/primary duties and responsibilities of the job, aptitude, level of complexity, span of control, autonomy, decision making and judgement. It is central and necessary to the satisfactory performance of the job. Includes the following and other duties as assigned.</p> <p>Under limited supervision, this position will:</p> <ul> <li>Monitor and review the Division Order activities to assure accurate and timely payment of royalties on all wells in the Enertia system or to be set up in Enertia. </li><li>Provide guidance and supervision to all aspects of processes and procedures. </li><li>Organize work flow to ensure all members of the team understand their duties, delegated tasks and expectations. </li><li>Establish and communicate goals for staff performance that align with the Company's goals. Review team performance and complete individual performance evaluations. </li><li>Monitor productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching. </li><li>Assist the team with fielding inquiries and complaints to resolve more complex and challenging problems. </li><li>Competently convey necessary and important division order information to management or to peers clearly and succinctly. Address questions, run reports and review documentation for support. </li><li>Request new or corrected title from attorneys as wells are put into production. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Education, Experience, Licensure (minimum level required)</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution. </li><li>At least seven (7) years of Land Administration, Lease Records, Division Order or related experience. </li><li>Certified Division Order Analysts (CDOA) or Certified Professional Lease and Title Analysts (CPLTA). </li></ul> <p>CORE COMPETENCIES</p> <p>List and describe the required factors (i.e. knowledge, skills, abilities, software programs, equipment, competencies), that are needed for this role. Indicate the level of proficiency/expertise for each when possible.</p> <ul> <li>Solid understanding of Company policies, industry practices and legal guidelines for lease records, division orders, well and owner maintenance. </li><li>Proven ability to read, fully understand and train the fundamentals of reviewing oil, gas and mineral leases, lease amendments, extensions, title opinions, curative and title research. </li><li>Ability to address litigation issues efficiently and completely, including reporting of data. </li><li>Ability to modify or generate ad hoc or other reports from the Land system. Create reports that summarize at a high level, detailed information complete with tables and graphs. </li><li>Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, with basic knowledge of Adobe products. </li><li>Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills, with ability to lead, guide and listen to others on group projects, initiatives, workflow, etc. and work effectively as a team. </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills working with team members, brokers, other departments and management. </li><li>Excellent time management practices, organization skills and problem-solving abilities. </li><li>Able to multitask and work independently. </li></ul> <p>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>This role will have supervisory responsibilities over the Lease Records and Division Order team. Supervises two (2) or more Full-Time Employees regularly.</p> <p>Responsible for regularly making decisions and/or recommendations concerning:</p> <ul> <li>Interviewing/hiring. </li><li>Mentoring/ongoing training. </li><li>Setting or adjusting work hours. </li><li>Plan, appoint, and direct the work. </li><li>Appraise performance/productivity and efficiency. </li><li>Recommend advancement, promotions, or other changes in status. </li><li>Handle complaints/grievances and disciplinary issues. </li></ul> <p>WORK ENVIRONMENT</p> <p>The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
