As an LLB Pop Up Sales Rep, you will represent the LLB brand, bringing its serviced products to life for both new and loyal customers in one of the world's most vibrant retail markets-New York City. You'll work with agility and confidence, navigating the fast-paced nature of pop-up retail with a calm, solutions-oriented mindset. Your ability to work with your team, engage customers, and maintain operational excellence-even amid busy times-will be key to creating memorable brand experiences and driving performance.</p> <p>This pop-up store will be open from mid-October to end of November 2025, and will be around a 6 week temporary assignment. This pop-up will be closed Mondays and Tuesdays. The selected candidate must live within a commutable distance to the SoHo neighborhood in NYC for the duration that the store is open.</p> <p>Shift availability options:</p> <p>Wed-Fri 10:30am-7:30pm (27 hours/week) or</p> <p>Sat and Sun 10:30am-7:30pm (18 hours/week)</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Customer Engagement & Sales</p> <ul> <li> <p>Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere.</p> </li><li> <p>Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products.</p> </li><li> <p>Build Relationships: Establish connections with customers, share expertise, and demonstrate a passion for learning and sharing product knowledge.</p> </li><li> <p>Promote current sales, promotions, and brand messaging.</p> </li><li> <p>Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize revenue.</p> </li></ul> <p>Store Operations</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assist in setting up and breaking down the pop-up store daily.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store layout.</p> </li><li> <p>Restock merchandise and manage inventory levels.</p> </li><li> <p>Operate the cash register, process payments, and handle returns/exchanges.</p> </li></ul> <p>Product & Brand Knowledge</p> <ul> <li> <p>Stay informed about product features, benefits, and usage.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate brand values and product stories effectively to customers.</p> </li></ul> <p>Customer Service</p> <ul> <li> <p>Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.</p> </li><li> <p>Collect and report customer feedback to store management.</p> </li></ul> <p>Team Collaboration</p> <ul> <li> <p>Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations.</p> </li><li> <p>Support visual merchandising and product display efforts.</p> </li></ul> <p>Compliance & Safety</p> <ul> <li> <p>Follow company policies, including health and safety regulations.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure secure handling of cash and store assets.</p> </li></ul> <p>The anticipated base pay range for this Temporary Part Time Sales Associate position is between $25.00-$40.00 hourly. The actual salary will be based on various factors such as a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills and competencies, and proficiency for the role.</p> <p>Physical Demands:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Required to stand, walk during shift; talk or hear, both in person and by headset; Occasionally ascend or descend ladders, stairs, ramps</p> </li><li> <p>Repetitive motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers; occasionally required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift 1 to 20 pounds</p> </li><li> <p>Occasionally move and lift objects up to 40 pounds (utilizing a team lift as needed)</p> </li></ul> <p>Skills and Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Must live within a commutable distance to the SoHo area of NYC</p> </li><li> <p>Previous retail experience preferred, and/or familiarity with L.L.Bean products and brand</p> </li><li> <p>Passion for providing world-class customer service.</p> </li><li> <p>Friendly and outgoing communication style.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency with computer systems and the ability to learn new technologies.</p> </li><li> <p>Adaptability and openness to change.</p> </li><li> <p>Team player - works well with others in a fast-paced, busy temporary retail environment</p> </li><li> <p>Availability to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.</p> </li></ul> <p>If you care about the outdoors, joining L.L.Bean is a great way to feel good about what you do.
