<p>Prototypes Pomona Recovery Bridge Housing (RBH), a program of HealthRIGHT 360, provides interim housing to unhoused adult and adult perinatal women receiving outpatient treatment services. RBH offers recovery-oriented services including peer support, group meetings, case management, and life skills development. It aims to stabilize patients' lives and prevent relapses by offering safe, supportive housing. Residents, prioritized based on vulnerability, receive approvals for 3-month increments up to 6 months annually and must remain engaged in outpatient treatment throughout their stay.</p> <p>The Client Safety Navigator (CSN) fosters a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment. CSN works with program leadership, Sheriff's or local law enforcement, and other teams to respond to emergency and crisis situations, including client drug use, overdose, programmatic interruptions, and other situations.</p> <p>This is a union position.</p> <p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>Safety and Security:</p> <ul> <li>Ensure and maintain a safe and orderly environment for clients, staff, and visitors in compliance with agency and industry standards. </li><li>Monitor security cameras, attend building security meetings, and work collaboratively with service providers and administrative staff. </li><li>Clear areas of crowds, debris, and out-of-place items to maintain safety. </li><li>Direct and deflect traffic, de-escalate tense situations, and maintain a positive, respectful demeanor even during high-pressure situations. </li><li>Work collaboratively with other service providers and administrative staff to maintain an orderly environment. </li><li>Remain alert and awake during the entire overnight shift, if applicable. </li></ul> <p>Client and Visitor Management:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain client and visitor logs. </li><li>Welcome and assist clients returning from appointments, ensure sign-in, and check belongings for contraband. </li><li>Welcome visitors, check credentials, ensure sign-in, and escort them to the supervisor on duty. </li></ul> <p>Crisis Intervention and Medical Assistance:</p> <ul> <li>Carry Narcan, recognize signs of overdose, and administer Narcan as necessary to reverse drug overdose. </li><li>De-escalate emotionally charged situations and maintain non-confrontational behavior during observation and intervention. </li></ul> <p>Facility Monitoring and Compliance:</p> <ul> <li>Make regular rounds to monitor entrances, exits, offices, common areas, and building perimeters. </li><li>Work with local law enforcement and file incident reports as needed. </li><li>Maintain appropriate boundaries and adhere to the organization's code of conduct. </li><li>All documentation must be maintained in compliance with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and other funding requirements to satisfy internal and external evaluating requirements. </li></ul> <p>Administrative Duties and Professional Development:</p> <ul> <li>Attend and participate in meetings. </li><li>Participate in and complete all assigned training. </li><li>Read and respond to emails when appropriate. </li></ul> <p>And perform other duties as assigned.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Education, Certification, or Licensure</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree or higher preferred. </li><li>Valid First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire. </li></ul> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>Two years of job-related experience working with the criminal justice population or with the community behavioral health system preferred. </li></ul>
