<p>TrinityRail Maintenance Services, Inc. is searching for a talented team player to fill the open position of Senior Welder on 2nd shift at our Shell Rock, IA office.</p> <p>TrinityRail Maintenance Services, Inc. provides a complete array of railcar maintenance services.</p> <p>As a a Welder at Trinity, you'll apply appropriate welding processes to join, surface, fabricate, and repair parts of metal or other weldable materials according to layouts, work orders, blueprints, schematics, and sketches using manual, automatic welding, and/or semi-automatic welding equipment. Hours are Monday - Friday from 2p-10:30p.</p> <ul> <li>Hand weld in all positions, fillet and groove </li><li>Perform repairs to subassemblies for final product </li><li>Perform oxy-fuel welding </li><li>Perform carbon arc welding </li><li>Conduct one or two NDE tests </li><li>Follow all safety rules and practices </li><li>May be involved in safety committees or initiatives </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>What you'll need:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 3 years of experience </li><li>Experience with MIG and FCAW is required </li><li>FCAW (2G, 3G & 4G) </li><li>Ability to weld out of position (vertical & overhead) </li><li>May require working above ground (15 ft or more) </li><li>Must be able to climb ladders or stairs to reach objects, comfortable with heights. </li><li>May require working in narrow or confined workspaces for extended periods of time </li><li>Tasks may require physical strength and dexterity </li><li>May require extensive kneeling, bending and standing for long periods of time </li></ul> <p>Please include any certifications, training or relevant experience and complete details of your work history on your application; need to list at least the last two employers in application, if applicable.</p>
