<p>START YOUR CAREER WHILE SAVING LIVES</p> <p>MUST HAVE A CDL OR WILLING TO OBTAIN A CDL TO BE CONSIDERED</p> <p>Location: Tulsa, OK</p> <p>Pay: Competitive pay based on education and/or experience plus shift differential and holiday pay; $500 bonus after 6 months and $1,000 bonus after 1 year!</p> <p>Benefits: Health, dental, vision, life insurance, long-term disability, 401(k), paid-time-off, $5,000 annual tuition reimbursement, etc</p> <p>Days: Monday through Friday</p> <p>Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; may vary</p> <p>Position:</p> <p>Assist in performing maintenance and service on general tasks required for the care of building, vehicles, equipment and grounds.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED required </li><li>CDL REQUIRED OR WILLING TO OBTAIN A CDL WITHIN 6 MONTHS OF BEING HIRED </li><li>Valid state driver's license </li><li>Must be 21 years of age or older </li><li>Must provide driving record with zero points and no moving/traffic violations in the past 3 years </li><li>Requires a general knowledge and aptitude for maintenance/service of vehicles, auxiliary generators, mechanical/electrical and other equipment associated with mobile and stationary needs of blood collection and distribution </li><li>Basic knowledge of electricity and mechanical devices </li><li>Must be in good physical health and have willingness to provide services as required </li></ul> <p>Primary Responsibilities:</p> <p>Facilities</p> <ul> <li>Use and update a work order system for all requests of the center </li><li>Perform checks of facility, grounds and parking lots and report deficiencies </li><li>Inspect for damaged ceiling tiles as needed </li><li>Inspect for or repair light fixtures </li><li>Troubleshoot basic electrical issues </li><li>Perform basic plumbing tasks (sinks, toilets, drains, etc.) </li><li>Perform basic inspection of facility roofs as needed </li><li>Interact with other departments to understand needs and accomplish tasks </li><li>All other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Fleet</p> <ul> <li>Provide total vehicle maintenance of fleet </li><li>Track daily vehicle repairs, pending and completed </li><li>Maintain accurate records of usage, preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance for all vehicles </li><li>See that all vehicles are kept in proper running order and complete appropriate inspections in a timely manner (including inspection of external lights and trailer lights for vehicles being used on a weekly basis) </li><li>Make recommendations on vehicle replacement/repair decisions </li><li>Performs and/or monitors the completion of scheduled and non-scheduled preventive maintenance actions </li><li>Ensures vehicle maintenance and parts invoices are approved and routed for payment on a weekly basis </li><li>Evaluate the most cost-effective method to complete vehicle repairs, internal or external </li><li>Make recommendations or ideas of vendors and service providers </li><li>Working knowledge of basic tools </li><li>All other duties as assigned </li></ul>
