You will design layouts using Revit, Bluebeam, and BIM and create hydraulic calculations and pipe lists for pre-fabrication.</p> <p>#shambaugh #LI-DF #LI-Onsite</p> <p>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for designing and the layout of Fire Sprinkler systems </li><li>Read, analyze and interpret contract documents, including all disciplines of construction drawings and specifications </li><li>Perform and review complex hydraulic calculations to ensure system performance and compliance. </li><li>Write, plan, coordinate, and make presentations to individuals and groups </li><li>Develop positive and ongoing relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction </li><li>Provide fire sprinkler designs with Revit, Bluebeam, and BIM </li><li>Lead 3D BIM coordination, managing interference with structural elements (joists, sleeves, inserts) and MEP systems. </li><li>Provide lists for fabrication and coordinate between the trades </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Associate or Technical Degree in a technical or business discipline preferred (Architectural, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management Degrees), or equivalent experience: </li><li>Fire Protection design experience preferred. </li><li>NICET certification preferred. </li><li>Revit, Bluebeam, and BIM experience preferred. </li><li>Experience with Data Center, Mission Critical, and Semiconductor industry projects preferred. </li><li>Valid driver's license and excellent driving record </li><li>Excellent communicator, self-motivated individual with great organizational skills </li><li>Only applicants who possess the minimum qualifications will be considered </li><li>Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required </li></ul> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer</p> <p>As a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
