We have an immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician role at our Cleveland, OH facility.</p> <p>Our Maintenance Technicians are primarily responsible for the planning and execution of routine mechanical maintenance, as designated by the SAP maintenance program, and non-routine maintenance as well when required. Check out some of our benefits below!</p> <ul> <li>Affordable Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance (day 1 of employment) </li><li>401k with 100% vested company core and match </li><li>Paid Vacation, holidays + sick time </li><li>Paid Parental leave (Up to 8 weeks) </li><li>Backup Child and Adult Care benefit </li><li>Adoption assistance </li><li>Flexible spending accounts (medical, dependent daycare) </li><li>Life Insurance (AD&D- Paid for by Air Products), Supplemental AD&D </li><li>Legal Plan & Identity theft coverage </li><li>EAP (Employee Assistance Program) </li><li>Many more supplemental benefits available </li></ul> <p>Required Skills / Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Familiar with compressors, turbines, pumps (multistage), valves, coolers, and fans. </li><li>Completion of recognized mechanical apprenticeship or other Trade/Technical degree in a related field is highly desirable </li><li>Knowledge of industry safety regulations and operating practices. </li><li>Good interpersonal and good verbal and written communications skills. </li><li>Must be able to work as an individual contributor or as part of a team as the work dictates. </li><li>Demonstrated commitment to safety. </li><li>Ability to use MS Office programs and knowledge of SAP or other computer-based Maintenance Programs. </li><li>Ability to provide out of hours assistance for plant emergencies and operational/maintenance issues on a call-out basis. </li><li>Ability to be on-call on weekends. </li></ul> <p>Key Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Ensure that all plant mechanical machineries are maintained to a safe and serviceable condition, so that they can consistently attain their performance targets. </li><li>Responsible to perform routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance on an assortment of pumps, compressors, and turbines. </li><li>Accountable to perform assigned Critical activities as per Process Safety requirements </li><li>Update maintenance records, investigation findings & prepare relevant reports. </li><li>Work with technical staff and plant management to resolve plant and equipment problems as they arise in the safest and most effective way. </li><li>Oversee contractors to ensure work is completed according to company standards. </li><li>Initiate purchasing procedures when necessary to ensure enough replacement parts and supplies are always on hand. </li><li>Perform non-routine maintenance duties as necessary or as directed by Supervisor to ensure minimum production downtime. </li><li>Assist in the proper storage and disposal of both hazardous and non-hazardous waste according to Company policy and applicable regulatory agency guidelines. </li><li>Provide support for Turnaround execution. </li><li>Become qualified as a Crane Lift Supervisor. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Hiring Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required. </li><li>4+ years of experience in a plant environment with mechanical and instrumentation troubleshooting, including piping, pneumatic, and electrical systems. </li><li>Experience working with and troubleshooting instrumentation and electrical equipment. </li><li>Must be able to be on-call on weekends. </li></ul> <p>Work Hours:</p> <ul> <li>5x8 schedule. </li><li>Primary work location will be within the new Cleveland ASU facility.
