Together, we are EXP.</p> <p>Are you ready to design your future?</p> <p>Be our next Construction Manager</p> <p>Your work environment at EXP</p> <p>In this role, you will be a part of the Los Angeles team, based in our Los Angeles office. Previous experience with life sciences facility expansion projects.</p> <p>What a day at EXP has in store for you</p> <ul> <li>Ensures construction adheres to construction specifications. </li><li>Project scope includes in-process air, USP water, autoclave, and a 5000L vessel installation. </li><li>The CM will be working closely with GC and acting as the owner's rep. </li><li>Reads, interprets, and deciphers all construction documents (schedules, specifications, blueprints, schematics, diagrams, etc. Provides technical assistance and interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods and equipment as required. </li><li>Logs, references, distributes, and files all related correspondence, drawings, and documents. Plans, coordinates, and supervises on-site functions (scheduling, material control, and day-to-day direction of on-site administrative staff, when assigned). </li><li>Ensures all project staff and subcontractors employed to execute engineering-construction tasks conform to applicable work rules and SOPs for security, safety, environmental controls, Quality, hazardous materials and underground utilities. </li><li>Takes subcontractors to site locations for visit to assist in the bidding process and answer questions pertaining to the Scope of Work . </li></ul> <p>What your experience looks like</p> <ul> <li>BS degree in Construction Management </li><li>10+ years of relevant Construction Management experience </li><li>Experience with life sciences facility expansion projects </li><li>Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills </li><li>Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines </li><li>Ability to work both independently and as part of a team </li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously </li><li>High level of proficiency in Autodesk software including AutoCAD and CADD </li><li>This role requires being onsite and working weekends. </li></ul> <p>The pay range for this role is $150,000 to $200,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.</p>
