<p>25-26 ACE-VISTA-SHRED-Project Coordinator</p> <p>The Center for Academic Community Engagement at Siena College (ACE) recruits candidates from around the United States to serve with community-based organizations that work to alleviate poverty in the Capital District. You will have the opportunity to work on capacity-building projects in education, health care, the environment, housing, criminal justice, and/or economic development. You will make an impact with a non-profit organization and the Capital Region by coordinating volunteer-led projects, conducting research, writing grants, and facilitating outreach. Based on your skills and interests, you will be matched with an organization for the year. You will be managed on-site by a supervisor, mentored by 2 VISTA Leaders, and trained by an experienced VISTA team. You will attend a Pre-Service Orientation, an On-Site Orientation, and ongoing training for your personal and professional growth. Additionally, our cohort model provides community and support to help you make the most of your service year experience. We are celebrating fifteen years of success and have had over 200 VISTAs complete the program. Become an ACE AmeriCorps VISTA Member and be a part of something bigger than yourself! Coordinator of Radness, will focus on: Program Coordination and Evaluation. So that at the end of VISTA cycle, this project will be maintained by hiring a new person to take on the program coordinator role.
