<p>Position Overview:</p> <p>As a Warehouse Reach Truck (Forklift) Operator your responsibilities include but are not limited to utilizing a reach truck to move, lift, stack and retrieve product within the warehouse. You will be responsible for moving product from the dock, pulling from reserve slots and filling pallet slots.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Transporting products from receiving dock or reserve slots to appropriate location within the warehouse </li><li>Maintaining proper replenishments in the computer system that utilizes a hand held scanning device </li><li>Moving pallets of products to designated bay location(s) based on assigned transaction </li><li>Maintaining accurate records of quantities, pack sizes and descriptions by performing regular counts and ensuring proper labeling </li><li>Achieving and maintaining established productivity standards based on company standards </li><li>Completing pre-shift and post shift inspection of equipment following company guidelines, reporting any mechanical issues to facilities maintenance </li><li>Accurately reading pallet tags at minimum of 40ft high </li><li>Removing wrapping from pallets when filling slots </li><li>Assist in cleaning and maintaining a safe working environment in the warehouse </li><li>Flexibility to work various or additional shifts, as needed including evenings, weekends, and holidays </li><li>Flexibility to work in various environments based on business needs </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by leadership </li></ul> <p>Environment:</p> <ul> <li>Varying temperatures based on assigned working environment </li></ul> <p>Schedule:</p> <ul> <li>Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 7A start (until completion) </li><li>Sunday, Monday,Tuesday,Thursday 8A start (until completion) </li><li>Wednesday-Saturday 8A start (until completion) </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Preferred: One (1) year distribution, warehouse or relevant experience </li><li>Preferred: Reach truck experience (Stand up forklifts; Reach Trucks etc) </li><li>Preferred: Proficiency in English (written and verbal) to effectively communicate with associates and leadership </li></ul> <p>Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Safety Culture: Maintain and drive safety policies to all associates; driving for accountability of safe practices throughout shift </li><li>Physical abilities: May be required to lift up to 80-85lbs.; standing, bending, lifting and twisting for up to 90% of your shift; frequently lifting product from various heights including floor level to over your head; Ability to stand or walk at least 10 hours daily; working in various temperature controlled environments; the ability to operate required material handling equipment - getting on and off equipment throughout shift </li><li>Strong communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with peers and leaders on a daily basis </li><li>Organizational Skills: Ability to fulfill customer orders in a timely manner; ability to prioritize and meet deadlines </li><li>Working in a team based environment: Working independently and as a team player to ensure our customers are receiving orders timely and with the highest quality </li><li>Quality: Maintain integrity and high standards of product handling from all perspectives </li></ul>
