<p>Special Education Paraprofessional - 1:1 - Temporary JobID: 3742</p> <p>Position Type:</p> <p>Support Staff - Assistants</p> <p>Date Posted:</p> <p>12/11/2025</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>Roosevelt Elementary School</p> <p>Additional Information: Show/Hide</p> <p>Summary:</p> <p>The Special Education Paraprofessional - 1:1 will work directly with the designated student to provide behavioral and academic support.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provide behavioral and academic assistance to students, under </li></ul> <p>School Year the direction of the teacher and principal.</p> <ul> <li>Provide prompting and redirection for engagement in academic tasks and other school activities. </li><li>Develop positive relationships with students and staff. </li><li>Effectively follow class management procedures, as well as individual behavioral plans. </li><li>Assist with student hygiene needs, as needed. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent is required. </li><li>CPI Certification or willingness to be trained on-site. </li></ul> <p>Schedule:</p> <p>Monday through Friday</p> <p>School Year</p> <p>7.5 Hours per day</p> <p>Compensation:</p> <p>Level I - $13.76 - $16.12</p> <p>Level II - $15.13 - $17.71 for Certified Teacher</p> <p>Additional $2500 stipend based on student's level of need</p> <p>(prorated based on date of hire)</p> <p>Temporary Position for remainder of 25/26 SY</p> <p>New Position</p> <p>Once the posting deadline date has been met (if applicable), the supervisor/principal will review applications and schedule interviews with the most qualified candidates.
