At Kuehne+Nagel, our contribution counts in more ways than we imagine.</p> <p>The purpose of the National Air Logistics Operations Optimization Management is to optimize and harmonize the way of working in the national Air Logistics Operations by implementing practical solutions in a combination of processes, systems, KNGS and any other suitable method. The primary focus is on the initiatives and projects with a positive impact on the Air Logistics Service Delivery and/or Operational Production Cost.</p> <p>How you create impact</p> <p>Regularly and frequently visit all operational departments (CCL/OCC/RCC etc.) and sit with the staff to review operational workflows and do hands-on improvements. Implementing practical solutions in the Air Logistics Operations that is optimizing the way of working in alignment with global standards and consistency. Practical, operational solutions can be any combination of processes, systems (incl. eTouch), KNGS and any other method that is solving our business problems. Work closely with CCL, OCC and RCC Managers as well as on a project basis with the Global Operations Optimization Team and any other team within Global Air Logistics to achieve the defined objectives in each respective area. Leading the national Operations Optimization Team, if applicable.</p> <ul> <li>Ownership and management of Operations Optimization Projects and Initiatives in the country, including: </li><li>Contribution to concept definition and design collaboration with the Global Operations Optimization Team </li><li>Operational validation and engagement with Operations Managers (CCL, OCC, RCC etc.) </li><li>Implementation and success management of operational solutions and system usage </li><li>Acting as the interface for the MA-OM as well as MA-IS Teams into the country organization, particularly for support and test case definition </li><li>Driving and improving processes in collaboration with the KNGS </li></ul> <p>What we would like you to bring</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Product Management, or a similar field </li><li>Master's degree preferred in related fields </li><li>Positive, self-starting attitude with a strong can-do mindset </li><li>Strong communication and managerial abilities for organizing projects and stakeholders </li><li>Change-management mindset with willingness to challenge and improve the status quo </li><li>High attention to detail and strong performance orientation </li><li>Ability to work effectively under pressure </li><li>Extensive knowledge of Air Logistics services and operations </li><li>High proficiency with KN Air Logistics systems such as SALOG, BPA, and CareLOG </li><li>Strong understanding of Air Logistics carrier and supplier relationships </li><li>Expertise in project management with strong analytical competencies </li><li>Leadership experience in direct or virtual environments </li><li>Experience managing cross-functional projects </li><li>International experience preferred </li></ul> <p>What's in it for you</p> <p>At Kuehne+Nagel we strive daily to inspire, empower, and deliver not only to our customers, but also to our colleagues. Base wage is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
