<p>Description</p> <p>Primary Accountabilities and Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Reviews reports and records to ascertain data required for planning department. </li><li>Directs and coordinates all air carrier fueling functions and ensures workers and equipment are available when and where they are needed. </li><li>Investigates causes of accidents and recommends safety measures for preventing further occurrences. </li><li>Communicates required information to other managers, supervisors, and departments. </li></ul> <p>Supervisory Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Manages supervisors and employees. </li><li>Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the shift. </li><li>Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company's EEOC and Anti-Harassment and Discrimination policies; including interviewing, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; and appraising performance. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills and Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>3 to 5 year's leadership and management experience in the Airport Ground Handling business. </li><li>A proven track record in managing a business unit. </li><li>Experience in budgeting and financial management. </li><li>Experience in operational planning and resource allocation. </li><li>A working knowledge of GSE operation. </li><li>Understanding of the wider airport operational environment. </li><li>Experience and understanding of the commercial issues in aviation. </li><li>Experience of Health and Safety management. </li><li>Must pass a drug test. </li><li>Must be able to lift at least 70 pounds on a continuous basis. </li><li>Valid driver's license in good standing. </li><li>Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays. </li><li>Work is done primarily outdoors, must be comfortable working in all weather conditions. </li><li>Must pass FBI background check and obtain US Customs seal. </li></ul> <p>Behaviors</p> <p>Team Player</p> <ul> <li>Works well as a member of a group </li><li>Leader </li><li>Inspires teammates to follow them </li><li>Detail Oriented </li><li>Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well </li><li>Goal Completion </li><li>Inspired to perform well by the completion of tasks. </li><li>Ability to Make an Impact </li><li>Inspired to perform well by the ability to contribute to the success of a project or the organization </li><li>Peer Recognition </li><li>Inspired to perform well by the praise of coworkers </li><li>Self-Starter </li><li>Inspired to perform without outside help </li></ul> <p>Education</p> <p>Required</p> <p>High School or better.</p> <p>Licenses & Certifications</p> <p>Required</p> <p>DRIVERS LICENSE</p>
