<p>Harbor Health Services is seeking Per Diem Pharmacists to join our teams at our retail Pharmacies located in Plymouth and Hyannis. Day, evening and weekend shifts available</p> <p>Locations:</p> <ul> <li>Harbor Community Health Center-Plymouth, 10 Cordage Park Circle, Plymouth , MA </li><li>Harbor Community Health Center-Hyannis, 735 Attucks Lane, Hyannis, MA </li></ul> <p>Role:</p> <p>The Pharmacist is responsible for the overall daily operation of the pharmacy department including but not limited to operational and clinical services including but not limited to purchasing, preparation and distribution of drugs; clinical oversight and interaction with medical staff; and appropriate/timely submission/reconciliation of drug claims.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for all activities related to dispensing medications. </li><li>Responsible for the overall safety and security of the pharmacy which includes pharmacy keys, alarm codes, etc. </li><li>Directly supervises the technicians and residents when on duty, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately during shift. </li><li>Works collaboratively with HHSI administration, providers, pharmacy and nursing staff to provide quality care. </li><li>Responsible for all activities related to dispensing medications. </li><li>Ensures appropriate record keeping for each prescription including proper perpetual documentation of all controlled substances in Schedules II-V. </li><li>Responsible for 340B compliance when filling and checking medications. </li><li>Ensures strict compliance with all standardized professional policies and procedures. </li><li>Provides timely and accurate delivery of services to clients. </li><li>Works in collaboration with pharmacy staff to increase their clinical effectiveness and counseling skills. </li><li>Ensures adherence to State and Federal laws and regulations. </li><li>Participates in the implementation and documentation of drug recalls through established policy and procedures in a timely manner, including documentation and the required detailing of the disposition of such drugs. </li><li>Responsible for communicating all incidents to the Pharmacist in Charge or Director of Pharmacy, when applicable. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor of Science or Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from a college of pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE) </li><li>Current, valid, unrestricted license to practice Pharmacy in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, current BLS required </li><li>One year of pharmacy or related experience, preferably in outpatient clinic pharmacy services or retail pharmacy. </li><li>Ability to handle multiple requests and prioritize appropriately, detail orientated </li><li>Excellent communication skills with patients as well as collaboration with health center staff and providers. </li><li>Computer literate, must have intermediate skills in Office 365, Excel, Word and Outlook and Teams </li><li>Bilingual in English/Vietnamese/Spanish/Portuguese a plus. </li></ul> <p>All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or veteran status.</p> <p>Hours include day shift, some evenings until 8:00 PM and Saturdays 8:AM to Noon.</p> <p>Per Diem (as needed)</p>
