<p>Description</p> <p>Springfield College is accepting application for an Assistant Coach-Women's Soccer. The qualified applicant will report to the Head Coach of Women's Soccer. For more information, please visit the College's homepage at www.springfield.edu.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>The individual will assist in all phases of the women's soccer program including competition and practice planning (traditional and non-traditional season), mentoring of students, recruitment and development of student-athletes, equipment, contests, social media and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach. Additionally, a thorough understanding of and accountability to NCAA, NEWMAC, and institutional rules and regulations is necessary.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Interested applicants for this position will have a Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred).</p> <p>Preference will be given to applicants whose degree is from a regionally accredited institution in Physical Education or a related discipline.</p> <p>Preference will be given to applicants with college coaching experience and college playing experience.</p> <p>A valid driver's license and CPR/AED is required.</p> <p>Applicants should have a commitment to work in a dynamic work setting with a diverse student population.</p>
