<p>The Senior Software Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, documenting, and testing innovative MarketProminence solutions using modern technology stacks within the AWS and OCI environments. A solid understanding of core IT concepts and the software development lifecycle is essential. The ideal candidate is self-driven, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with a cross-functional, agile team to design and implement effective solutions to complex business challenges. </li><li>Design system architecture, develop related documentation, and provide accurate technical estimates. </li><li>Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using the .NET framework, Angular and Oracle DB. </li><li>Enhance and support a file processing engine utilizing Python and YAML. </li><li>Contribute to the performance, reliability, and stability of the production environment by working closely with DevOps to define appropriate monitoring and by analyzing system performance data. </li><li>Engage directly with clients to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve application issues in a timely and professional manner. </li></ul> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred; a combination of relevant education and experience will also be considered. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 5 years' experience in full-stack, web-based application development, including planning, implementation, and delivery </li><li>Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform, preferably Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or Amazon Web Services (AWS), with familiarity in core cloud services and general cloud computing concepts. </li><li>Proficiency in .NET and Python for backend development. </li><li>Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web services integration. </li><li>Experience working with relational databases, preferably Oracle. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Understanding of cloud security best practices, including Identity and Access Management (IAM), data encryption, key management, and network security </li><li>Familiarity with PL/SQL. </li><li>Familiarity with accessibility standards such as WCAG. </li><li>Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools, including CloudWatch, Datadog, and Prometheus. </li><li>Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub). </li><li>Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. </li><li>Some knowledge of government health programs, especially Medicare/Medicaid. </li><li>First preference will be to candidates local to Guilford, Connecticut. </li></ul> <p>At MHK we help health plans and pharmacy benefit managers deliver optimal care management across every member's health journey. The reasonable estimate for base salary will range between $95,000-$110,000 annually. Please note this information is only an estimate and specific to those hired in the aforementioned States. Outside of these locations, salary range would be aligned to the candidate's specific location. A final decision on the successful candidate's starting salary will be based on a number of permissible, non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to skills and experience, training, certifications, and education.</p>
