The Order-to-Cash Business Analyst will join our Product Management team, bringing deep expertise in order-to-cash workflows to enhance KCS's product suite and deliver impactful solutions for our customers. This role will drive key improvements across sales operations, collaborating with internal and client teams to ensure that KCS's software solutions meet and anticipate industry needs.</p> <p>We are looking for a highly skilled Engineering TechLead with deep technical expertise in the following: KCML to drive day-to-day development within a squad. As the Team Lead, you'll play a dual role: actively contributing to coding while guiding the technical direction of the team. Your leadership will be essential in fostering a collaborative, fast-paced environment focused on delivering efficient, high-quality solutions.</p> <p>Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will take ownership of optimising team workflows, mentoring team members, and resolving complex coding issues. This role requires a hands-on leader who can set high coding standards, ensure rapid troubleshooting, and support continuous improvement in both development and delivery processes.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Hands-on Development and Code Quality:</p> </li><li> <p>Actively write, review, and optimise code in KCML using Oracle databases and Linux, ensuring the team adheres to the best performance, scalability, and maintainability practices.</p> </li><li> <p>Lead by example in resolving complex bugs and technical issues, ensuring quick and practical solutions to minimise disruptions in production.</p> </li><li> <p>Technical Leadership and Mentorship:</p> </li><li> <p>Mentor team members in advanced coding techniques, troubleshooting, and optimisation strategies, promoting a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.</p> </li><li> <p>Guide best practices and coding standards, ensuring high-quality solutions that meet project requirements and enhance team skill sets.</p> </li><li> <p>System Design and Architecture:</p> </li><li> <p>Lead the design and development of efficient, scalable components that integrate seamlessly within larger systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Focus on lean processes and optimised architectures that reduce bottlenecks, enhance system performance, and support smooth integration within the product.</p> </li><li> and Testing:</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with QA to ensure code quality through automated and manual testing processes, delivering reliable software within short timeframes.</p> </li><li> <p>Champion the use of automated testing tools and frameworks to enhance testing speed and accuracy, driving productivity improvements across the squad.</p> </li><li> <p>Process Optimisation and Continuous Improvement:</p> </li><li> <p>Regularly review and optimise development workflows, identifying opportunities for greater efficiency, reduced cycle times, and increased team throughput.</p> </li><li> <p>Use DORA metrics and other key performance indicators to monitor progress, track cycle times, and promote continuous improvement within the team.</p> </li><li> <p>Effective Communication and Coordination:</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain clear, ongoing communication with the Engineering Manager and other stakeholders, updating on team progress, technical challenges, and resource needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals, address blockers, and keep development on track.</p> </li></ul> <p>Skills, Knowledge and Experience:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Technical Proficiency in Coding and Problem-Solving:</p> </li><li> <p>Strong background in KCML, with the ability to lead by example in coding best practices, complex problem-solving, and hands-on debugging.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to contribute meaningfully to system architecture, optimising for performance, scalability, and ease of integration.</p> </li><li> <p>Mentorship and Leadership Abilities:</p> </li><li> <p>Proven skills in mentoring and developing team members, promoting technical growth, and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.</p> </li><li> <p>Skilled at providing constructive feedback, coaching team members on coding standards, and guiding them through complex technical challenges.</p> </li><li> <p>Agile Development and Delivery:</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in Agile development, with a track record of managing fast-paced, iterative projects and adapting to changing requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledgeable in continuous integration and deployment practices, supporting a smooth and responsive delivery pipeline.</p> </li><li> <p>Quality and Process Optimisation:</p> </li><li> <p>Familiar with DORA metrics and other key performance indicators to measure and enhance team efficiency, cycle times, and code quality.</p> </li><li> <p>Skilled in implementing testing and quality assurance practices that support rapid, reliable releases and reduce technical debt.</p> </li><li> <p>Communication and Collaboration:</p> </li><li> <p>Strong communicator, capable of conveying technical concepts to both technical and experience. </li><li>Technical Experience: Extensive experience in KCML development, with a proven ability to lead by example in hands-on coding and technical decision-making. </li><li>Leadership Experience: Experience in a technical team lead role or similar, with demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and drive team performance. </li><li>Performance and Quality Focus: Familiarity with DORA
