<p>Position Description:</p> <p>Consultation-Liaison Psychiatrist - Medical College of Wisconsin</p> <p>The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin is seeking a Consultation-Liaison Psychiatrist to join our team in supporting an evolving and innovative model of care for the Complexity Intervention Unit (CIU) at Froedtert Hospital.</p> <p>Position Overview:</p> <ul> <li>Beginning in the 2025-26 academic year, the CIU will transition from one 16-patient team to two 8-patient teams. This unique medical unit provides care for patients with complex co-occurring medical and psychiatric conditions, requiring either a dual-trained Med-Psych attending or a collaborative team of an Internal Medicine hospitalist and a psychiatric consultant. </li><li>The Consultation-Liaison Psychiatrist will spend a portion of their clinic effort working as an embedded consultant with an internal medicine hospitalist in caring for the patients on one of the CIU medical teams.
