<p>Reporting to the VP, Marketing Manager, the Event & Marketing Associate will be a creative, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic candidate, responsible for supporting Eastern Bank's strategic direction and execution of corporate events and brand marketing activities. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys coordinating and attending events, is a reliable problem solver and has a creative eye.</p> <p>MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>Event Planning & Execution:</p> <ul> <li>Create event experiences for employees and/or customers that attract, engage, and inspire </li><li>Coordinate and implement comprehensive event plans, define project milestones and deadlines, detailing timelines, budgets, and logistics to ensure seamless execution for in-person, virtual and hybrid events </li><li>Review event support request forms and work with business lines to determine needs </li><li>Provide back-up support to VP, Digital Marketing Manager with digital marketing efforts for events </li><li>Support on-site event logistics, including setup, registration, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth event operations </li><li>Act as Zoom meeting host or back-up host for virtual/hybrid meetings </li><li>Compile reports on post-event metrics and performance </li></ul> <p>Administrative Support:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee and maintain event supply inventory and requests </li><li>Handle contracts, invoices, and marketing asset organization </li><li>Assemble presentation decks </li></ul> <p>Brand Marketing Support:</p> <ul> <li>Assist Graphic Designer with light creative design requests </li><li>Provide additional project management support to Brand Marketing team, as needed </li></ul> <p>REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Flexible with evening event work and occasional travel within MA and NH </li><li>Creative thinker with a strong eye for detail and ability to problem solve </li><li>Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn </li><li>Comfortable working in event environments with high visibility to senior management </li><li>Ability to work independently and take initiative </li><li>Strong organizational and project management skills </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities </li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field required </li><li>3-5 years of hands-on experience in event management and marketing </li></ul> <p>Skills/Knowledge:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of marketing and event concepts and strategies </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) </li><li>Some experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) as well as email service platforms (HubSpot) </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <ul> <li>Hybrid (Boston) </li><li>Must be able to attend on-site events and meetings regularly, and occasionally outside of normal working hours </li><li>Ability to lift or move boxes or supplies, up to 30lbs, and be on your feet for several hours at events </li></ul>
