<p>Kforce has a client that is seeking a Software Engineer in Westlake Village, CA.</p> <p>Summary: The Application Developer utilizes minimum requirements to develop technology solutions for the Mortgage Servicing platform using a cloud solution and Microsoft technologies, utilizing services from our cloud service provider. The candidate will write high quality code to create complex business applications; test software during development; perform quality assurance and user acceptance testing; prepare software for deployment; provide post implementation support; and prepare application documentation.</p> <p>The Application Developer will:</p> <ul> <li>Use the latest tools and techniques (.NET, .NET Core, C#, Agile Methodologies, Web Services, SQL, SSIS) </li><li>Prepare software for deployment to production environments </li><li>Respond to and resolve questions and issues logged by users of a live system </li><li>Manage small projects independently and work as a team member on larger projects </li><li>Perform other related duties as required and assigned </li><li>Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization's desired culture and values </li></ul> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Develop using .NET, .NET Core, C#, SQL, SSIS, and web services </li><li>Front-end development with JavaScript, HTML, CSS </li><li>Work in Agile environments (XP, Scrum) </li><li>Deploy to production and support live systems </li><li>Collaborate on small and large projects* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience </li><li>Up to 7 years of relevant work experience </li><li>Knowledge of Agile Methodologies, such as Extreme Programming (XP) and Scrum is helpful </li><li>Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) </li><li>In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, functional programming, and front-end languages </li><li>.NET/.NET Core/C# </li><li>Knowledge of design patterns, refactoring and unit testing </li><li>Strong debugging and deployment experience </li><li>Experience with Linux and open source software is a plus </li><li>AWS Environment - EC2, SQS, SNS, Lambda, Containers, API Gateway experience highly preferred </li><li>Financial services experience, especially related to mortgages and mortgage backed securities, is desirable </li><li>AI Co-pilot or equivalent AI coding experience is a plus </li></ul> <p>Interview Process:</p> <ul> <li>Submission: Once we submit your profile, client will send you a coding test </li><li>Coding Test: If you pass, you will be invited for an in-person interview at the client's office </li></ul>
