<p>Employment Type:</p> <p>Part time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>12 Hour Night Shift</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>Position Purpose:</p> <p>At Mercy Medical Center, the Registered Nurse (RN) in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) delivers patient care to individuals in critical condition.</p> <p>What You Will Do:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assume responsibility for Critical Care Patients, conducting assessments, devising care plans, and adjusting critical drips to ensure hemodynamic stability and appropriate sedation levels.</p> </li><li> <p>Attend to patients requiring advanced monitoring, heightened observation, utilization of invasive equipment, and administration of intricate medication regimens.</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an Associate's degree in Nursing is required.</p> </li><li> <p>Valid RN license in Massachusetts</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in Nursing</p> </li><li> <p>Ideal candidates will have one or more years of ICU, Critical Care, or Step Down nursing experience</p> </li><li> <p>Candidates with a minimum of one year of acute inpatient nursing experience will be considered for training</p> </li><li> <p>BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)</p> </li><li> <p>ACLS certification, support available for certification post-hire.</p> </li></ul> <p>Position Highlights:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Part-Time: 24 hrs/week - Night Shift</p> </li><li> <p>Rotating weekends and holidays</p> </li></ul> <p>Ministry/Facility Information</p> <p>Mercy Medical Center has established itself as one of the leading providers of health care services in Western Massachusetts.
