Position Overview</p> <p>We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Project Manager with experience in aviation fueling systems, pipeline construction, or related mechanical infrastructure projects. This role supports both the engineering and construction administration phases, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in full compliance with technical standards.</p> <p>You'll work closely with engineers, contractors, and airport stakeholders to manage documentation, coordinate project activities, and support field operations.</p> <p>? Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Project Management & Coordination</p> <ul> <li>Manage all project communications, including technical and administrative aspects of small to mid-sized aviation fueling projects. </li><li>Monitor and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations. </li><li>Participate in developing engineering reports, exhibits, calculations, and design documents. </li><li>Assist with document control activities to ensure accurate and organized project records. </li></ul> <p>Construction Administration</p> <ul> <li>Support construction administration services, including receiving, reviewing, and processing RFIs, submittals, substitution requests, and contractor documentation. </li><li>Participate in internal and external project coordination meetings. </li><li>Conduct construction observation site visits to verify progress, quality, and compliance with design intent. </li><li>Assist in managing change orders and tracking project modifications. </li></ul> <p>Skills & Technical Expertise</p> <ul> <li>Project management </li><li>Mechanical engineering fundamentals </li><li>Construction management </li><li>RFIs, change orders, and document control </li><li>AutoCAD </li><li>Fluid mechanics / fluid dynamics </li><li>Pipeline construction (fuel, oil & gas, or aviation preferred) </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>EIT certification </li><li>Experience with aviation or airport fuel pipeline engineering </li><li>Familiarity with fueling systems, pipelines, or mechanical infrastructure </li><li>Strong communication and coordination skills </li></ul> <p>Experience Level</p> <p>Intermediate (3-7 years preferred)</p> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Garden City, NY.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $62.50 - $76.92/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
