<p>Location: McLean, VA</p> <p>Shifts: As Needed</p> <p>Vinson Hall (VH), a premier Continuing Care Retirement Community located in McLean, VA, is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Memory Care team. This position will primarily support residents in Memory Care while also assisting in other departments as needed.</p> <p>The ideal candidate enjoys working with older adults, is patient and attentive, and is committed to providing high-quality care in a supportive, team-oriented environment. If you are dedicated to making a meaningful difference in residents' lives, we want YOU to join our team!</p> <ul> <li>Must have a valid Virginia CNA license </li><li>CPR certification preferred </li><li>1-2 years of CNA experience preferred, particularly in a geriatric or long-term care setting </li><li>Strong knowledge of bedside nursing care and protocols </li><li>Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor </li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills </li></ul> <p>Primary Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding. </li><li>Aid with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure comfort and safety. </li><li>Monitor vital signs (e.g., temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) and report any changes to the nursing staff. </li><li>Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided and changes in residents' health. </li><li>Assist with restorative and rehabilitative activities as directed. </li><li>Ensure cleanliness and organization in resident rooms and common areas. </li><li>Uphold residents' privacy, dignity, and rights according to HIPAA regulations and facility policies. </li></ul>
