<p>Position: Dial Screener</p> <p>Position Guide: Non-Certified Personnel 9 Months</p> <p>Function: Pre - School Screener or Hearing and Vision Screener.</p> <p>Reports To: Child Service Specialist</p> <p>Director of Special Education Services</p> <p>Relates To: Child Service Specialist</p> <p>Hearing and Vision Technicians</p> <p>District Personnel</p> <p>Parents</p> <p>Qualifications: Associates Degree or Minimum High School Diploma</p> <p>State of Illinois Hearing/Vision Certification</p> <p>Excellent interpersonal skills.</p> <p>Must be able to speak, read and write English</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Serve as an interpreter for students, staff, and parents. </li><li>With proper certification, screen district students for vision and hearing. </li><li>Compile and enter hearing and vision result data into a district computer program in an efficient and timely manner. </li><li>File and organize results from preschool screenings and submit the information to the assigned coordinator. </li><li>File and organize results from hearing and vision and submit the information to the assigned coordinator. </li><li>Performs all other responsibilities as assigned by the Child Service Specialist or Director of Special Education or Designee. </li></ul>
