Accountable for ensuring that finished goods meet the specifications of the company and its customers. Leading a quality team.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Tasks</p> <ul> <li> <p>Manage programs and activities of the quality department</p> </li><li> <p>Work in conjunction with Organizational Quality leadership and Manufacturing Management to ensure all manufacturing and Quality Assurance procedures are being performed and all metrics are on target.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for personnel activities including hiring, termination, performance goals setting, and ensuring that all quality personnel are trained to perform their respective job functions.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in the development, implementation and administration of quality specifications and systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor and report on progress against metrics and goals</p> </li><li> <p>Visit customers and suppliers when necessary.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for all activities associated with internal and external audits.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage customer complaint and reject process to ensure accurate root cause analysis, timely response, and determination and implementation of corrective actions.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor site quality and food safety metrics and develop counter measures as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Work with manufacturing to ensure product conformance through documented process monitoring and process controls methods.</p> </li><li> <p>All other duties as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications, Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li> <p>BS Degree (preferred in technical area) plus five (5) years of leadership experience in Quality/Manufacturing or ten (10) years of relevant experience</p> </li><li> <p>Comprehensive knowledge of concepts and principles. Prior audit experience and knowledge of ISO 9001, GMP, GFSI required.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong data management skills preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated understanding of fact-based decision-making and analytical processes related to quality management and process improvement.</p> </li><li> <p>Effective coaching, training and facilitating experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Solid working knowledge of quality processes and related manufacturing.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, Teams, and Outlook.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.</p> </li><li> <p>Exceptional time management and organization skills.
