<p>GROWMARK FS is headquartered in Milford, Delaware with branches in New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. GROWMARK FS has about 500 employees (including seasonal workers) and approximately 13,000 customers. The cooperative does business in seed, agronomy, energy, crop protection, precision agriculture, and custom application. GROWMARK FS is part of the GROWMARK System, an agricultural cooperative serving more than 100,000 customers across North America and Ontario, Canada.</p> <p>PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT</p> <p>Assists the Location Manager with the operations of assigned location including personnel, scheduling,</p> <p>logistics, inventory, product handling, application services, and customer satisfaction.</p> <p>Assists in the development and implementation of plans that maximize location profitability.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS</p> <p>Collaborates with Location Manager and Crop Specialist on planning, organizing, directing and</p> <p>scheduling work assignments and product batching sequences for dry & liquid facilities.</p> <p>Responsible for the inventory control and turns in application records on a daily basis. Assures all</p> <p>product is accounted for with either an invoice or delivery ticket.</p> <p>Sets up material handling, blending, storage, transport and application equipment for blending and</p> <p>delivery of products.</p> <p>Blends products according to recommended rates and procedures.</p> <p>Completes delivery tickets, transfer tickets, and invoicing for fertilizer and crop protection loads.</p> <p>Provides customer service and billing information and invoices in a timely and accurate manner to</p> <p>increase inventory accuracy, and maintain the reputation and prof itability of the organization.</p> <p>Operates and maintains facility equipment and machinery in a safe, ef f icient, and economical way.</p> <p>Schedules and performs maintenance of assigned equipment, rolling stock, and facilities.</p> <p>Leads personnel to follow all safe operating procedures and regulations.</p> <p>Responsible for maintaining the appearance of the facility according to company standards, maintains a</p> <p>safe environment of the facility, and maintains the appropriate professional image.</p> <p>Assists in sales with prospective accounts including, but not limited to, plant food, chemical, seed, custom</p> <p>application, and precision ag.</p> <p>OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS</p> <p>Supports and contributes to total company goals and objectives through collaboration ef forts with logistics</p> <p>Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and</p> <p>Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.</p> <p>Performs all other duties as assigned.</p> <p>REQUIREMENTS</p> <p>Normally requires an Associate's Degree in agricultural discipline, or the equivalent thereof , and 2 years</p> <p>or more of agronomy operations related work experience or farming experience to demonstrate</p> <p>knowledge to ef fectively assist in the management of the assigned facilities and personnel.</p> <p>Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer</p> <p>focus, decision making and skill development.</p> <p>Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Commercial Applicator's core license with applicable weed,</p> <p>insect, and disease certif ications.</p> <p>Prefer a CDL license with a valid medical card and satisfactory driving record, as</p> <p>applicable.</p> <p>Must have the ability to obtain and maintain required endorsements and any other applicable</p> <p>certif ications, licenses, and permits.</p> <p>Ability to work extended hours as business conditions warrant.</p> <p>Prefer an understanding of GROWMARK agronomy and/or energy operations.</p> <p>Frequently or continuously exposed or required to work in conditions that may include:</p> <ul> <li>Extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, snow, ice, etc.) </li><li>Noisy conditions </li><li>May include dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures </li><li>May be required to work at varying heights </li><li>Confined spaces </li><li>Lifting 51-70 lbs </li></ul> <p>Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's</p> <p>policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.</p> <p>We are an equal opportunity/Disabled/Protected Veteran Employer.
