<p>Development, Data, and Community Engagement VISTA</p> <p>The mission of the Wisconsin Association of Free & Charitable Clinics (WAFCC) is to support, strengthen, and advocate for Wisconsin's free and charitable clinics, the patients they serve, and the communities with whom they partner. This project will take place at the Waukesha Free Clinic in Waukesha, Wisconsin. The Waukesha Free Clinic provides medical care, mental health services, and supportive resources to individuals who are uninsured, underinsured, or experiencing barriers to accessing care in Waukesha County. The clinic relies on a combination of staff, volunteers, and community partnerships to meet the growing demand for services and has become a critical safety-net provider in the region. As patient needs increase and systems evolve, the clinic is seeking to strengthen its internal infrastructure, particularly around policies, data management, volunteer coordination, and chronic disease support programs. A comprehensive review and improvement of clinic processes will help ensure sustainability, consistency, and responsiveness to community needs. Further help on this page can be found by clicking here.</p> <p>Member Duties : This role will help prepare for the clinic's 50th anniversary in 2027 while strengthening systems related to grants, donor engagement, data management, and communications. The VISTA will support anniversary planning and outreach; create content for newsletters, social media, and community awareness; research and track grant opportunities; draft grant materials for leadership review; and assist with donor tracking, stewardship, and follow-up systems. The member will also support use of the Wisconsin CareHub data system, assist with reporting for grants and fundraising, and develop written guides as needed. Additional projects may include research related to pharmacy systems or other operational improvements. This is a capacity-building role focused on fundraising, data, communications, and organizational systems.
