This position provides emergency and routine maintenance support to the operations departments in an industrial/automated environment.</p> <p>Hourly rate of pay is $43.97 / hour.</p> <ul> <li>Eligible for additional $0.50 for Certified Welding Wage Progression </li><li>Eligible for medical, prescription, dental, & vision coverage on date of hire </li></ul> <p>Qualified candidates will be required to pass a written technical skill assessment and undergo a one-on-one technical interview.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Responsibilities for the Maintenance Engineering Technician (MET) position may include the following:</p> <ul> <li>Comply with all safety regulations </li><li>Preventative Maintenance (continuous improvement) </li><li>Troubleshooting Mechanical, Electronic, and Electrical Industrial Equipment </li><li>Perform Quick Repair for Trouble Calls from Operating Technicians </li><li>Perform Maintenance on Mechanical, Hydraulics, Pneumatic and Electrical Equipment </li><li>Troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs) </li><li>Perform Preventative Maintenance on equipment and systems </li><li>Use computer-based software to enter, track and analyze work activities and maintenance trends </li><li>Read and use blueprints, schematics, manuals, technical drawings, work orders, test results, machine error messages. </li><li>Test fixed machinery </li><li>Clean and lubricate parts </li></ul> <p>Candidates must have flexibility to work either an 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shift on either a day or night shift. Shift preference is based on seniority, therefore we cannot guarantee a specific shift.</p> <p>8-Hour Shift Schedule:</p> <p>Shift B Monday - Friday, 6 am - 2 pm</p> <p>10-Hour Shift Scheule:</p> <p>Shift E Monday - Thursday, 6 pm - 4 am</p> <p>12-Hour Shift Schedule</p> <p>Day shift (Shift 1 & 3) work from 6 A.M. to 6 P.M. Night shift (Shift 2 & 4) work 6 P.M. to 6 A.M. Teammates must be able to work a shift schedule with 48 hours one week and 36 hours the next week.
