<p>RN Registered Nurse Endoscopy, Contingent</p> <p>Henry Ford Providence Novi Hospital</p> <p>GENERAL SUMMARY:</p> <ul> <li>Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. </li><li>Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. </li><li>Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. </li><li>Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. </li><li>Delivers professional nursing care in the operative setting to patients undergoing procedures. </li><li>Performs scrub functions including the selection and handling of instruments and supplies used during procedure. </li><li>Performs circulating functions including monitoring, recording and communicating patient condition and managing overall nursing care of patient before, during and after procedure. </li><li>Prepares rooms and surgical instruments and equipment for use. </li></ul> <p>Henry Ford Providence Novi Hospital is a 277-bed facility offering advanced specialty care spanning cardiology, oncology, neuroscience, orthopedics, women's services, and more, including treatment at its comprehensive stroke center and Level II trauma center.</p> <p>The hospital provides leading-edge treatments and technologies to address the diverse healthcare needs of the local community.</p> <p>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:</p> <ul> <li>Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing. </li><li>Previous 1-2 years recent related clinical nursing experience and a demonstrated level of performance and practice required. </li><li>Previous Endoscopy experience required. </li></ul> <p>CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:</p> <ul> <li>Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing. </li></ul> <p>On Call hours required, additional shifts available to pick up at Henry Ford Southfield location</p> <p>Additional Information</p> <ul> <li>Organization: Henry Ford Providence Hospitals </li><li>Department: Endoscopy GI 001 </li><li>Shift: Rotating </li><li>Union Code: Not Applicable </li></ul>
