The Human Resources LDP is a 24-month experiential commitment crafted to cultivate your business knowledge, gain on-the-job training, network in an encouraging, inclusive, team-based environment, have exposure to senior leaders and contribute to the success of the company through four, 6-month rotations. With access to our Business Resource Networks - which includes the Black Employee Network, Young Professionals Network, PRIDE Network - you will increase your own sense of belonging and engage in relevant networking and development opportunities. Embark on this journey as a Leadership Development Program Associate and lay the foundation for your future.</p> <p>Create programs to help us attract, retain and develop high-performing talent to enable achievement of global business objectives. You'll gain experience in multiple Centers of Excellence that work towards our HR strategic priorities. As a Human Resources LDP, you may work with team members to support the following areas: Benefits, Compensation, Human Capital Insights, Human Resources Business Partner, HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, and Talent & Development.</p> <p>After exploring the breadth of the business unit(s) through each rotation, LDPs may post to a permanent position within Ameriprise Financial.</p> <p>2025 Ameriprise Financial and Columbia Threadneedle Investments interns will be given preferred consideration during the application window closing August 25th. In the event not all approved positions are filled, we anticipate re-opening this requisition the week of September 1st for all applicants to be considered that match the required requirements and qualifications.</p> <p>Responsibilities vary depending on current rotation and assigned projects(s) and may include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Participating on project teams responsible for developing solutions for opportunities within the business area to enhance the employee experience</p> </li><li> <p>Recommending and participating in enhancements to existing processes</p> </li><li> <p>Assists in resolving problems or issues through trouble shooting</p> </li><li> <p>Data analysis and reporting</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Current Senior at a 4-year university pursing a bachelor's degree Human Resources, Business Management, or related field</p> </li><li> <p>Graduation date of December 2025 or May/June 2025</p> </li><li> <p>Commitment to complete the full 24-month Leadership Development Program</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>High degree of self-motivation with strong integrity and ethics</p> </li><li> <p>Proven organization skills and ability to manage time effectively</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work and communicate collaboratively with all levels of the organization including team members, managers, and senior leaders</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite</p> </li></ul> <p>The company does not offer sponsorship for this opportunity.</p> <p>About Our Company</p> <p>We're a diversified financial services leader with more than $1 trillion in assets under management and administration as of 2022. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
