<p>The incumbent is responsible for the overall design, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of performance management systems for process improvement monitoring within the Columbia VA Health Care System. This includes Lean, Six Sigma, Coaching, Project Management, and Training.</p> <p>Duties include, but may not be limited to the following:</p> <ul> <li>The incumbent will employ informatics for the development and management of data systems assisting managers in the understanding of complex VA care system and creating the basis for data-driven decision-making for performance management. </li><li>Identifies discrete steps for simple transaction processes or routine business practices that might be opportunities for applying standard quality improvement techniques. </li><li>The incumbent will integrate individual provider data into meaningful group or sub-set information analyses such as, but not limited to, hospital admissions patterns, length of stay, bed days or care and pharmacy and medication use practices and patterns. </li><li>The incumbent will understand the clinical programs; clinical practice modes, medical center and VA operational systems, and resource utilization and/or cost accounting systems in order to create, and manage information streams incorporating aggregate cost analysis against current operational models or options. </li><li>The incumbent will also develop workload descriptive assessments with trend data or forecasting information to analyze workload and resource levels to meet current and future demand. </li><li>Conducts extensive research and compilation of data from diverse sources. </li><li>Extracts and assembles information, conducts analysis and develops reports or presentations. </li><li>Identifies and determines training priorities, conducts and administers training programs, develops and improves training guidance. </li><li>May conduct classroom or other group-setting instruction. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM</p> <p>Telework: Not eligible</p> <p>Position Description/PD#: Program Analyst/PD01170A</p> <p>Financial Disclosure Report: Not required</p>
