BlueHalo, an AV Company, has opportunities available for Student Research Assistants to support research on the fabrication and characterization of robust electronics at the Materials & Manufacturing Directorate of the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) in Dayton, Ohio.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Utilize a class-100 clean room environment, including state-of-the-art thin film deposition and lithography tools to conduct basic research into the fabrication process optimization of novel microelectronic devices </li><li>Assess material quality and suitability for device performance using fundamental materials characterization techniques including AFM and XRD </li><li>Conduct basic electronic transport experiments to assess material and device performance including DC I-V and ferroelectric switching via PUND </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Due to the nature of this position, U.S. Citizenship is required </li><li>Must be working toward a BS in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, or a related discipline </li><li>Relevant course and lab work on device fabrication and characterization and microelectronics preferred </li></ul>
