Description</p> <p>Team Member at the Tower Deli - Job Description</p> <p>Job Type: Part-Time</p> <p>Pay: $12-$14 + Tips, DOE</p> <p>Must be able to work at least 3 shifts a week, AM or PM, weekend or holiday availability</p> <p>Summary: The Tower Deli & Grill is a fresh and inviting dining experience at Thanksgiving Point, offering handcrafted sandwiches, burgers, wraps, salads, and more. Our new and improved location is looking for passionate team members who are excited to be part of something special!</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and accurately taking food orders in a fast-paced deli and kitchen environment. </li><li>Prepare fresh menu items on the grill, assist with food preparation, and help maintain consistent food quality, presentation, and portion standards. Experience with grilling, line cooking, meal prep, sandwich preparation, or commercial kitchen operations is highly preferred. </li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen workspace while following all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations. Operate kitchen and food service equipment safely and efficiently. </li><li>Support daily deli and restaurant operations by helping with inventory control, stocking ingredients and supplies, restocking stations, and assisting team members throughout each shift. </li><li>Work collaboratively with cooks, kitchen staff, cashiers, and other restaurant team members to create a positive dining experience for guests. Additional food service and hospitality duties may be assigned as needed. </li><li>Represent Thanksgiving Point's mission, values, and policies by demonstrating confidence, compassion, curiosity, professionalism, and teamwork every day. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Previous experience in food service, deli operations, restaurant kitchens, grilling, cooking, catering, or meal preparation required </li><li>Strong customer service, communication, and teamwork skills </li><li>Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy kitchen or restaurant setting </li><li>Dependable work ethic with strong attention to food quality and cleanliness </li><li>Positive, calm, friendly, and professional attitude </li><li>Willingness to learn new kitchen skills and support fellow team members </li><li>Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout shifts in a high-energy food service environment </li><li>Comfortable working around grills, heat, kitchen equipment, and fast-paced cooking stations </li><li>Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds </li><li>Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak dining hours preferred </li><li>Must successfully pass a background check </li><li>Must be at least 16 years of age </li></ul> <p>EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
