<p>Summary: Supports and assists the Training and Engagement Manager in the development, coordination, and implementation of all company training programs.</p> <p>Engagement Expectations:</p> <p>We believe that team member engagement is the basis for a great culture and superior guest service. During every interaction, we display three behaviors:</p> <ul> <li>Smile, display energy and open body language </li><li>Proactively greet team members and guests, initiating interaction to provide service </li><li>Always use a positive parting remark to end the conversation </li></ul> <p>Essential Job Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Organizes and develops training procedure manuals, guides, and/or course materials such as handouts and visual materials. </li><li>Facilitates training courses to all levels in the organization. </li><li>Works with the Training and Engagement Manager to become certified in developed courses. </li><li>Works closely with the HRBP team and the Training and Engagement Manager to identify training needs and gaps in the organization. </li><li>Research training and development trends and information for the purpose of developing new programs that meet team member needs. </li><li>Assists in the development of individual trainings for team members, as requested, for the purpose of supporting supervisor-directed team member growth programs. </li><li>Coordinates training with outside providers as needed. </li><li>Presents a professional image and conduct oneself in a professional manner in all aspects of the position. </li><li>Makes recommendations for additional training and enhancements on current programs while working within the assigned budget. </li><li>Provides support and participates in all team member events as requested by the Human Resources department. </li><li>Assists department trainers with their on-boarding process including manuals, appropriate training methods, activities, and follow-up. </li><li>Schedules training sessions based on team member schedules, training room availability, and facilitator availability. </li><li>Responsible for creating, updating, and communicating the HR Training Calendar to all departments. </li><li>Oversees curriculum database, training needs by position and all training records </li><li>Maintains a variety of manual and electronic files and/or records for the purpose of providing up-to date training information and complying with the regulatory requirements and established guidelines. </li><li>Continues to build, maintain, and nurture relationships with all departments within the company. </li><li>Oversees the coordination and delivery of new hire orientation to inspire a positive outlook toward the objectives of the organization. </li><li>Market and communicate available training opportunities to team members and provide necessary information. </li><li>Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment. </li><li>Performs all other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Must be 18 years of age or older. </li><li>Bachelor's Degree Preferred. </li><li>3 or more years of training design and development experience. </li><li>Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Exceptional public speaking ability. </li><li>Must be a TEAM player. </li><li>Must be able to work with high volumes of confidential information in a professional manner. </li><li>Must be detailed oriented with excellent organizational skills. </li><li>Must be willing to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. </li><li>Computer skills required using database, spreadsheet, word processing, and presentation software. </li><li>Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing. </li></ul> <p>Physical and Mental Demands:</p> <ul> <li>Frequent walking, standing, kneeling, twisting, bending, and lifting. </li><li>Must occasionally lift up to 10 pounds. </li><li>Regularly required to see, walk, talk, and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. </li><li>Able to work with others while maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor. </li></ul>
