Aides operations in maintaining stability, studying and correcting deviations, and providing technical basis for plant at the front line. Supports and leads front line improvements and control management.</p> <ul> <li>Perform process audits of equipment on a regimented basis. </li><li>Measure, track, and leverage energy and fuel streams to optimize cost and satisfy quality goals. </li><li>Provide leadership to plant operators by forming plans of control around process. </li><li>Work with Process Control Engineers to use and maintain PLC tools to reduce variation in process. </li><li>Understand and use statistical tools to reduce variation in assigned area. </li><li>Work with quality department to audit, improve, and maintain the process's measurement system. </li><li>Supply technical support to Operations Managers and Operations Team Leaders. </li><li>Work with maintenance to maintain equipment to reduce process variation. </li><li>Manage small capital projects while maintaining all other duties. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field required. </li><li>Experience: Up to 5 years of job-related experience required. </li><li>Certifications: Related industrial certifications a plus. </li><li>Knowledge: MSHA compliance and regulations, preventative and corrective maintenance, and process improvements required. </li><li>Skills: Computer skills, troubleshooting skills required. </li><li>Abilities: Ability make changes based on production needs and train as needed. </li><li>Behaviors: Strong communication with internal and external individuals. </li></ul> <p>The Fine Print</p> <p>Benefits and perquisites may vary based on the nature and location of each job.</p> <p>Click here for MLC EEO information</p> <p>About MLC</p> <p>MLC, headquartered in St. Louis, Mo., is a leading global supplier of high-calcium lime products and technical solutions.
