<p>Director of Building Operations / Maintenance Director / Building Services Director</p> <p>The Ridge Foothill is looking for someone that is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, organized, dedicated, hardworking, honest. We need someone with these skills and qualities to lead our maintenance and housekeeping departments. While leadership and organizational skills are a must, you must also like to be hands-on and work alongside those you supervise. Come join us as our Director of Building Operations / Maintenance Director / Building Services Director!</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Director of Building Operations / Maintenance Director / Building Services Director:</p> <ul> <li>Ensure that the property is maintained in a clean, safe and comfortable manner. </li><li>Responsible, with your team, for the maintenance of the building, grounds and building systems; including all electrical, mechanical and other equipment. </li><li>You and your team will assist with room readiness to include painting, millwork and cabinet repairs, carpet cleaning and minor plumbing and electrical fixes. </li><li>Supervise the maintenance technicians and the environmental services (housekeeping) team members. </li><li>Cultivate and manage vendor relationships. </li><li>Create, maintain and improve new or existing procedures, schedules, task lists, managerial templates, etc. </li><li>Schedule and oversee required inspections, repairs and preventative maintenance tasks. </li><li>Communicate with Residents, Management and Staff regularly regarding any (and prior to any) issues that may affect the use of any service, amenity or system. </li><li>Identify, provide pricing assistance and project coordination assistance for all capital expense projects at the community. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications of a Director of Building Operations / Maintenance Director / Building Services Director:</p> <ul> <li>Must be knowledgeable and capable in the areas of electrical, structural, painting, plumbing and HVAC preventative maintenance/minor repair duties. </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Prefer two (2) years' experience in building and maintenance or janitorial work. </li><li>Prefer two (2) years of experience in supervision and leading a team of employees. </li><li>High level of initiative and self-motivation with an emphasis on establishing and understanding processes with a strong attention to details. </li><li>Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with seniors, their family members and staff in a caring, compassionate manner. </li><li>Ability to effectively plan, prioritize and manage tasks to completion in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li>Work Environment: Active hands-on role within our senior living community. </li><li>Location: Salt Lake City, UT </li></ul> <p>About The Ridge Senior Living</p> <p>The Ridge Senior Living is a boutique family of luxury senior living communities in Salt Lake City, Utah and Lakewood, Colorado.
