<p>Kforce has a client in Salt Lake City, UT that is seeking a Financial Analyst that supports project activities within the IT & Digital Delivery Team. This position provides financial and contract administrative services to assist IT Program and Project Managers. Responsibilities include reporting, analytics, tracking, and forecasting for multiple projects in various stages of execution.</p> <p>Responsibilities: Financial Tracking & Reporting:</p> <ul> <li>Monitor and report on project expenditures (monthly, quarterly, yearly) </li><li>Use SAP for project finance management </li><li>Submit purchase requisitions via SAP </li><li>Prepare financial reports and funding projections </li><li>Collaborate on department-wide reporting </li><li>Provide meeting support, including scheduling and minute-taking </li><li>Conduct variance analysis of actuals vs. budget and forecast </li><li>Assist with month-end postings, reconciliations, and inter-company transfers </li><li>Manage budget sign-offs and financing </li><li>Handle multiple currencies </li></ul> <p>Project Spend Analysis & Forecasting:</p> <ul> <li>Perform retrospective analysis of capital expenditure projects </li><li>Maintain a dynamic costing database </li><li>Conduct ad-hoc reporting and analysis </li><li>Manage data collection and entry for reporting purposes </li><li>Prepare and maintain project spend plans, comparing actuals vs. planned costs </li></ul> <p>Contract Administration Support:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain accurate records of contract-related documents (SOWs, WOs, COs/CRs) </li><li>Monitor contract performance to ensure compliance </li><li>Assist in drafting and obtaining approvals for contract changes </li><li>Prepare summaries and reports highlighting contract terms, risks, and deliverables </li><li>Support contractor/vendor onboarding and offboarding* Ability to monitor, track, and report on project expenditures (monthly/quarterly/annual) </li><li>Experience preparing financial reports, spend plans, and funding projections </li><li>Ability to conduct retrospective analysis for capital expenditure projects </li><li>Skilled in variance analysis (actuals vs. budget/forecast) </li><li>Ability to compare planned vs. actual project spend and forecast future costs </li></ul> <p>Experience supporting month-end processes:</p> <ul> <li>Postings </li><li>Reconciliations </li><li>Inter-company transfers </li></ul> <p>Project & Contract Administration Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Experience maintaining contract documentation (SOWs, WOs, COs/CRs) </li><li>Ability to track contract performance and ensure compliance with terms </li><li>Experience supporting contract changes, approvals, and documentation updates </li><li>Ability to prepare summaries of contract terms, risks, deliverables </li><li>Experience supporting contractor/vendor onboarding and offboarding </li><li>Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate and up-to-date project and contract records </li></ul> <p>Operational & Collaboration Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to support meetings (scheduling, logistics, taking minutes) </li><li>Comfortable working independently, with proactive follow-through </li><li>Strong communication skills for coordinating with project managers and cross-functional teams </li><li>Ability to manage shifting priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment </li><li>Comfortable working with distributed/global project teams </li></ul> <p>Preferred Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated experience in financial support for IT or technical project teams </li><li>Background working in PMO, IT delivery, or project portfolio environments </li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy with financial and contract information </li></ul>
