Check out the responsibilities and requirements below and then fill out an application!</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>The Vice President of Franchise Growth is responsible for shaping and executing the strategic direction of national and international franchise development at Marco's Pizza. This executive role plays a pivotal part in advancing the company's mission by developing a comprehensive franchise sales and growth strategy and implementing initiatives that support organizational key objectives. The VP will identify and engage both existing and prospective franchisees to expand Marco's geographic footprint in targeted markets.</p> <p>The ideal candidate is a resourceful, highly motivated self-starter with demonstrated success in strategic thinking, project management, leadership, and operational execution. The position requires a hands-on leader who thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Develop and execute a comprehensive franchise sales strategy for both new and existing markets.</p> </li><li> <p>Track key performance metrics and adjust forecasts to align with evolving business needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Lead a cross-functional team including Growth, Marketing, and Support Staff to exceed franchise sales goals and promote continuous improvement.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage the full franchise development pipeline, from lead generation through franchise agreement execution, including new and multi-unit growth.</p> </li><li> <p>Evaluate prospective franchisees based on financial viability, cultural fit, and operational capability.</p> </li><li> <p>Create and manage the National Franchise Recruitment strategic plan in partnership with internal and external teams to achieve annual growth targets.</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee the development and customization of content and presentations for key recruitment audiences.</p> </li><li> <p>Support Area Representatives (ARs) and non-AR teams in building localized franchise recruitment marketing campaigns.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate with potential franchisees to clearly convey Marco's operational structure and strategic value.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor the competitive landscape and adjust value propositions to highlight Marco's points of differentiation.</p> </li><li> <p>Drive effective territory management and collaborate with leadership across Real Estate and Operations.</p> </li><li> <p>Attend domestic and international trade shows and in-market meetings to support franchise growth and relationship development.</p> </li></ul> <p>Education Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelors Degree </li></ul> <p>Critical Competencies:</p> <ul> <li>High level of organizational skills. </li><li>Sales & Development </li><li>Proven ability to close/win deals. </li><li>Self-motivated </li><li>Dependable and trustworthy </li><li>Professional and courteous </li><li>Strong work ethic / initiative </li><li>Detail oriented and with an ability to report clearly and accurately </li><li>Highly organized with an ability to multi-task in a fast-paced / growth environment </li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain, manage and drive schedules </li><li>Demonstrated management and leadership skills </li><li>Understanding of the AR and franchise agreements. </li><li>Ability to develop and maintain Franchisee relationships </li><li>Follows company policies, upholds professional standards, and performs all work in a manner respectful of others </li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Fran Connect database systems </li><li>Proficient in Project Management systems and processes </li><li>Ability to quickly adapt </li><li>Exceptional time management skills </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Strong presentation skills </li><li>Experience in a high-profile role that requires diplomacy and interpersonal communication to both small and large groups of people with a high level of effectiveness. </li><li>Proven track record of high achievement and success in a highly competitive business segment </li><li>"CFE" Certified Franchise Executive certificate </li></ul>
