<p>Kforce has a client that is seeking a Revenue Accountant in Cambridge, MA.</p> <p>Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Revenue Accountant to support their team during a critical phase following their third Oracle implementation attempt. This role is vital for ensuring revenue integrity, supporting internal stakeholders, and preparing for upcoming coverage needs during a team member's maternity leave.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Revenue Accountant will review and analyze revenue contracts (not highly complex in nature) </li><li>Perform in-depth analysis on deferred and unbilled revenue </li><li>Collaborate directly with the Budget Manager to resolve revenue issues and identify billing delays </li><li>Investigate project-related billing gaps (e.g., -Why aren't we billing this?-) </li><li>Act as a liaison with project managers, many of whom have technical backgrounds and limited financial acumen </li><li>As a Revenue Accountant, you will support Oracle implementation efforts as a dedicated resource on the accounting team </li><li>Potentially assist with transition and knowledge sharing with offshore support in India </li><li>Prepare and calculate revenue in alignment with percentage-of-completion (POC) accounting* 3-5 years of accounting experience, including revenue recognition </li><li>At least 1 year of experience with POC (percentage-of-completion) accounting </li><li>Strong Excel skills required (VLOOKUP's, pivot tables, formulas); ability to build or modify spreadsheets </li><li>Effective written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Ability to work independently and communicate with both finance and non-finance stakeholders </li></ul>
