This position requires extensive experience in systems engineering, particularly within the DOD environment, and the ability to work independently on high-visibility projects.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>Design, integrate, test, and analyze military electronics, computer networking systems, super-minicomputers, microcomputers, and digital and graphic display systems. Work independently on high-visibility or mission-critical aspects of assigned programs. Oversee and mentor less senior staff, ensuring the successful execution of tasks and projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions that meet operational requirements. Maintain documentation and reporting standards for engineering processes and outcomes.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Education: MA/MS or BA/BS in Engineering or Computer Science. Experience: Minimum of 10 years in systems engineering supporting DOD programs, or 8 years with an advanced degree. Equivalent academic experience may be considered (1 academic year at an accredited college or university may substitute for 1 year of experience).
