Led by our purpose, to nourish growth with all that we do, our team members are dedicated to creating great tasting food and cultivating deep and lasting relationships.</p> <p>Overview</p> <p>The position of Production Clerk is responsible for entering production and other plant data into inventory computer systems. Prepares, distributes, and maintains various required reports regarding plant information. Assists with purchase orders and finance needs as well and reports to both production and finance.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Works respectfully with all team members to ensure the Safety, Quality, production and support of our products and goals daily. </li><li>Demonstrates Marzetti Values including integrity, respect, accountability, and continuous improvement in all interactions. </li><li>Actively participates in Marzetti Operational Excellence, special projects or tasks, and modification programs as needed with prior approval. </li><li>Participates in department/shift/team meetings and is involved with improvement/resolutions & follow-up. </li><li>Assists with corrections, updates, and adjustments in SAP Work in Progress (WIP) and Finished Goods. </li><li>Reviews and corrects daily consumption errors for assigned shift. </li><li>Supports SAP training onsite with new operators and processors. </li><li>Track and research bin errors in partnership with Finance. </li><li>Assist with issuing/maintaining Blanket POs to service-related vendors. </li><li>Following-up to ensure each release is received. </li><li>Submit work orders and coordinate with receiving all services and work orders due. </li><li>Assist finance with coordination of AP Activities </li><li>Develops and distributes Processing Batch Sheets daily. </li><li>Adds items to or adjusts the production schedule as needed. </li><li>Generates, maintains, analyzes & distributes production efficiency charts and other production reporting metrics on behalf of production and finance. </li><li>Runs and distributes various reports as requested by management. </li><li>Coordinates with department managers & supervisors on any scheduling or production issues that may arise </li><li>Complete initial/annual training to ensure the individual is properly qualified (QI) to perform all required job tasks as outlined in training programs/records. </li><li>Ensures compliance to quality, food safety, 5S, OSHA and HACCP support programs; assures conformity to all company, customer and government standards. </li><li>Serve as a qualified individual as part of the plant's Food Safety Plan, including monitoring and verification activities related to process control and preventative control measures. </li><li>Other duties and special projects as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Prior experience production in a manufacturing environment required, preferably in food-related industry. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to appropriately work with confidential information and situations and manage correspondence. </li><li>Strong organizational abilities, capable of multi-tasking, strong analytical and math aptitude. </li><li>Advanced knowledge of computer systems including MS Office application and SAP </li><li>Working knowledge of production processes, scheduling systems in manufacturing preferred. </li><li>Ability to read & interpret written & verbal direction while working in a safe, effective & productive manner within a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Associate Degree in related field preferred; High School Diploma or GED required. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions/Environment</p> <p>Works in a?manufacturing environment where the employee is regularly required to speak, read, sit, stand, walk,?climb, crouch,?lift, reach, grasp and bend while moving about the facility. Must be able to move 75 pounds a distance of 25 feet or more at various frequencies and or intervals. Must be able to stand for an 8 - 10 hour shift (sometimes longer) with regular breaks while performing repetitive tasks. May be required to work overtime and/or weekends as needed. The employee may be exposed to non-ambient temperatures, odors, dust, oil, slippery floors,?moving parts/equipment. The noise level is loud in the plant. Ear protection, eye/face protection, hair/beard nets, steel-toed/slip-resistant shoes, and gloves are required as necessary in accordance with company GMP and safety standards.</p>
