<p>Basic Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>HS Diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Previous Hotel/restaurant experience. </li><li>Fine dining server experience. </li><li>Basic knowledge of wines. </li><li>Ability to read, write, and understand English. </li><li>Routinely lift an average of 50 lbs. without restrictions. </li><li>Must be of legal age to sell alcohol (21), 18 to serve it. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information</p> <p>Additional Information: Essential Personnel</p> <p>Position Description</p> <ul> <li>Setting up a la carte and private dining rooms for all meal periods including set-up of tables and chairs, linens and skirts, flatware, buffets, coffee and beverage stations </li><li>Performing opening and closing side-work for each meal period </li><li>Taking guests order for food and beverage items, serving and bussing tables, passing hors d'oeuvres and serving wines/champagnes according to Faculty Club standards </li><li>Attending to beverage stations </li><li>Cleaning and resetting dining rooms for next meal period following set standards </li><li>Responsible for maintaining sanitation standards in compliance with city and state laws, Harvard Environmental Health and Safety regulations, departmental and HACCP policies. </li><li>Works cooperatively with all members of the team. </li><li>Complies with State of Massachusetts and Faculty Club's "Food Employee Illness Policy". </li><li>Maintains a respectful and professional demeanor, always promoting a positive relationship between Faculty Club and all guests. Maintain a neat appearance and comply with proper dress code as designated by Faculty Club. </li><li>Performs related job duties as required </li></ul>
