As the HR Benefits Specialist, you'll play a vital role in fostering a workplace where employees feel valued, supported, and empowered. Your day-to-day will include:</p> <ul> <li>Guiding and Supporting Employees - Be a trusted advisor on benefit offerings, helping employees navigate enrollment, life events, and leave with clarity and compassion. </li><li>Delivering Seamless Administration - Oversee plan enrollments, payroll deductions, monthly billing reconciliations, and vendor relationships to ensure programs are accurate, efficient, and compliant. </li><li>Championing Workplace Well-being - Administer leave of absence programs (FMLA, ADA, etc.) and workers' compensation claims; support return-to-work planning with care and sensitivity. </li><li>Managing Compliance and Claims - Respond to unemployment claims, track filings, and ensure adherence to ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, and applicable state laws. </li><li>Driving Process Excellence - Maintain SOPs, benefit documentation, and HRIS data integrity; partner across HR, Payroll, and Accounting to streamline processes and resolve issues. </li></ul> <p>What makes you a great fit</p> <p>You're someone who thrives on creating positive employee experiences through precision, communication, and care. Your key strengths include:</p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience in benefits administration, including leave management, workers' compensation, and billing reconciliation </li><li>A passion for employee well-being and delivering exceptional service </li><li>Strong working knowledge of benefits administration, leave laws, and claim processes </li><li>Proven ability to manage complex billing reconciliations and compliance reporting </li><li>Effective communication skills to support and educate employees and leaders </li><li>Experience with HRIS and payroll platforms-UKG experience is a plus </li><li>A collaborative and detail-oriented mindset in a fast-paced, multi-state environment </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). </li></ul> <p>Your journey starts here</p> <p>If you're ready to be part of a company that truly cares for its employees, we'd love to connect.
