<p>Kforce has a client that is seeking a Junior-Mid level HVAC Mechanical Engineer in Sparks, NV.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Lead project planning, coordination, and execution with minimal oversight </li><li>Independently manage conceptual design to construction drawing development for multiple small and medium-sized projects </li><li>Develop designs compliant with Building Codes, Energy Codes, and LEED standards </li><li>Handle HVAC calculations, design, and layout of equipment, duct, and piping systems </li><li>Engage engineering applications and/or managers in project decisions </li><li>Proactively communicate and coordinate with Project Management, Construction, Service departments, Controls, and trade partners </li><li>Conduct economic and energy analyses </li><li>Assist with field engineering tasks such as project execution, trade coordination, scheduling, document management, and troubleshooting </li><li>Ensure quality of design drawings and models </li><li>Communicate effectively and professionally with colleagues and project team members </li><li>Manage time to meet project schedules and deadlines </li><li>Oversee design team members as requested by the Manager </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management </li><li>Over three years of experience with a Design/Build Mechanical Contractor or as a consultant </li><li>Comprehensive understanding of systems and applications </li><li>Excellent knowledge of Building Codes and industry standards </li><li>Strong grasp of engineering and design fundamentals </li><li>Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit </li><li>Professional Engineer license is highly desirable but not mandatory </li></ul>
