<p>Title: Seasonal Employee Hourly</p> <p>Department Org: Environmental Sciences - 101250</p> <p>Employee Classification: H6 - Intermittent - Seasonal Hourly</p> <p>Bargaining Unit: Bargaining Unit Exempt</p> <p>Primary Location: MC AC</p> <p>Shift: 1</p> <p>Start Time: End Time:</p> <p>Posted Salary: 18.00/hour</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>This position exists to conduct invasive grass carp removal and to collect and process biological and physical samples needed to carry out research on grass carp. Field and Laboratory Assistants will work mostly in the field as boat crew. When needed they will also carry out laboratory procedures or enter data</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Education: Bachelors Degree in a field relevant to fish ecology such as any field of biology, environmental sciences, or natural resources unless currently enrolled in a similar degree program </li><li>Skills </li></ul> <p>o Able to work as part of a team</p> <p>o Able to work long hours outdoors in all weather conditions</p> <p>o Prefer previous boating experience</p> <p>o Prefer fish identification skills and familiarity with aquatic ecosystems</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <p>Conditions of Employment:</p> <p>To promote the highest levels of health and well-being, the University of Toledo campuses are tobacco-free.
