<ul> <li>Configure, install, maintain, and trouble shoot printers, scanners, electronics, and other peripheral devices in local and wide area networks. </li><li>Configure, install, maintain, and trouble shoot PC Workstations including application installation and debugging, network client installation and maintenance. </li><li>Assist with network management and monitoring. </li><li>Install, relocate, replace, troubleshoot and maintain VoIP telephones </li><li>Assist in supporting and maintaining mobile/cell phones and other handheld computing devices </li><li>Performs daily operational tasks including maintaining problem / solution documentation </li><li>Prepares and maintains written documentation and inventory of all systems devices. </li><li>Regularly takes part in technical training </li><li>On-call, and weekend work are required. </li><li>Attends departmental and user meetings as required. </li><li>May provide coordination of small tasks involving more than one end user computing staff member, primarily related to Move/Add/Change (MAC) or construction related scopes of work. </li><li>Performs other work related duties as assigned or requested. </li></ul> <p>Consistently provides service excellence to all patients, family members, visitors, volunteers and co-workers in a manner that reflects Cape Cod Hospital's commitment to CARES: compassion, accountability, respect, excellence and service.</p> <ul> <li>Associate in Science with major in Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and work related experience. </li><li>One or both of the following certifications: </li></ul> <p>CompTIA IT Fundamentals or CompTIA A</p> <p>or</p> <p>Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) Windows Operating System Fundamentals</p> <p>or equivalent combination of education and work related experience</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of three (3) years hands on experience as a Computer Technician supporting data related computing services requirements, and at least one year supporting voice (VOIP) related requirements </li><li>Experience with the installation and use of computer application software focusing on Microsoft products such as Windows Operating Systems and Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio) required. </li><li>Three (3) years' experience in a multi-platform environment supporting its networking infrastructure, operating systems and protocols. </li><li>Proven problem solving and analytical skills including identifying and resolving computer and peripheral setup, trouble shooting, and component failure. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to work effectively with limited supervision. </li><li>Proven interpersonal relation skills. </li><li>Valid Massachusetts drivers license for automobiles. </li><li>Ability to read, write, and communicate in English </li></ul>
