This role is ideal for someone looking to gain experience in the insurance industry while assisting with policy processing, documentation, and customer service tasks. The Account Assistant will work closely with Account Managers, Producers, and Underwriters to help maintain strong client relationships and ensure smooth daily operations.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for servicing a commercial book of business within our Executive Liability and Finance Products unit. </li><li>Daily functions include: invoicing, client communications, follow up on renewals and quotes and prepare proposals. </li><li>Review and verify policy documents for accuracy before distribution to clients. </li><li>Issue and update certificates of insurance upon client requests. </li><li>Assist in tracking client payments and coordinating with accounting to ensure timely processing. </li><li>Monitor emails and phone inquiries to ensure timely responses. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>2-4 years minimum experience in insurance industry </li><li>Experience managing a faster paced book within real estate industry </li><li>State of California P&C license required. </li><li>Strong Knowledge of Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance. </li><li>Exceptional Communication & Interpersonal Skills. </li><li>Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively. </li><li>Strong organizational and time-management abilities. </li><li>Proficiency in Insurance Software, Microsoft Office Suite and data manipulation in excel. </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications include:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge and experience within a brokerage and real estate accounts </li><li>Professional Liability designation </li></ul> <p>Additional Information</p> <p>Please see our company Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Medical, Dental, Vision </li><li>Life and AD&D insurance </li><li>FSA / HSA </li><li>Commuter & Child Care FSA </li><li>Cancer Support Benefits </li><li>Pet Insurance </li><li>Accident & Critical Illness </li><li>Hospital Indemnity </li><li>Employee Assistance Program (EAP) </li><li>11 Paid Holidays </li><li>Flexible PTO </li><li>401K </li></ul> <p>Compensation: ($48,000-$52,000) - final compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.</p> <p>Trucordia is an equal opportunity employer.
