<p>Payroll Analyst VIAJP00001479</p> <ul> <li>Hourly pay: $50/hr </li><li>Worksite: Leading digital streaming network (New York, NY 10036 or Los Angeles, CA 90038 - Onsite) </li><li>W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL </li><li>40 hours/week, 9 Month Assignment </li></ul> <p>A leading digital streaming network seeks a Payroll Analyst. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for employees within a large company, multi-state, union environment.</p> <p>Payroll Analyst Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>End-to-end processing of multi-frequency union and non-union payrolls. </li><li>Audit and reconciliation of HR and payroll data to identify and resolve discrepancies and ensure accuracy. </li><li>Ensure data is compliant with federal, state and local tax regulations including multistate taxation rules. </li><li>Reconcile payroll integration and bank files. </li><li>Provide timely and compliant response and set up of employee garnishments. </li><li>Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues, providing timely and accurate information and resolving discrepancies. </li></ul> <p>Payroll Analyst Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>3+ years of payroll experience in a large company setting. </li><li>Experience with SAP Employee Central Payroll (ECP) or other major HCM systems is a plus. SAP ECP is heavily preferred. </li><li>Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy </li><li>Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite with intermediate-level Excel skills </li><li>Demonstrated understanding of the relationship between HR policies/programs and payroll </li><li>Compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations as well as company policies, and the ability to handle complex issues. </li><li>Basic knowledge of payroll accounting, wage and hour laws, and SOX compliance. </li><li>End-to-end processing of multi-frequency union is a nice-to-have; any experience with union payroll is highly preferred. </li><li>Ability to maintain strict confidentiality </li><li>Ability to prioritize competing demands and work well under pressure. </li></ul> <p>Shift:</p> <ul> <li>9 am to 6 pm. </li><li>Open to overtime as needed. </li></ul> <p>(H)</p>
