<p>Client Overview:</p> <p>Our client is a growing pharmaceutical organization focused on developing and delivering innovative therapeutics, with a strong commitment to quality, compliance, and scientific excellence. They are looking to add a Quality Control Microbiologist to their team.</p> <p>Salary/Hourly Rate:</p> <p>$40/hr - $45/hr, Depending on experience</p> <p>Position Overview:</p> <p>The Quality Control Microbiologist will support microbiology testing and quality control operations in a GMP-regulated environment. This role is part of the weekend team and is responsible for executing lab testing, supporting investigations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.</p> <p>Responsibilities of the Quality Control Microbiologist:</p> <ul> <li>The Quality Control Microbiologist will perform microbiological testing, including bioburden, endotoxin, and environmental monitoring. </li><li>Support in-process and release testing, as well as method transfers. </li><li>Follow aseptic technique and GMP requirements. </li><li>Review and document data accurately and on time. </li><li>Assist with lab maintenance, sample prep, and inventory. </li><li>Support SOP updates, investigations, and audit readiness. </li></ul> <p>Required Experience/Skills for the Quality Control Microbiologist:</p> <ul> <li>The Quality Control Microbiologist must have GMP experience. </li><li>4 - 8 years of QC lab experience or equivalent. </li><li>Strong microbiology background (bioburden, endotoxin, EM, aseptic technique). </li><li>Good documentation, organization, and problem-solving skills. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Experience/Skills for the Quality Control Microbiologist:</p> <ul> <li>LIMS experience (LabWare is a plus). </li><li>Exposure to both microbiology and chemistry testing. </li><li>Experience with method transfer or validation activities. </li></ul> <p>Education Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or a related field is required. </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Atrium Care Package available, upon eligibility (including healthcare plans, discount programs, and paid time off). </li></ul>
